(1) “Cloudbusting” ~ <\/b><\/p>\n

The term “Cloudbusting” as\u00a0used in this\u00a0paper, shall denote all engineering techniques<\/p>\n

which deal with the destruction as\u00a0well as\u00a0the formation of clouds\u00a0of water vapor in the<\/p>\n

atmosphere and of orgone energy\u00a0accumulations\u00a0of all kinds\u00a0including gravity; briefly,<\/p>\n

with all phenomena which are related to or derive from atmospheric\u00a0changes\u00a0of<\/p>\n

climate including weather, humidity, amount of rainfall per unit of time, storms,<\/p>\n

hurricanes, DOR\u00adclouds, Oranur functions\u00a0in the atmosphere, atmospheric\u00a0OR energy<\/p>\n

changes\u00a0of all kinds, the origin of deserts\u00a0as\u00a0well as\u00a0of areas\u00a0of green vegetation, and<\/p>\n

all similar functions\u00a0which depend on the presence or absence, on the scarcity\u00a0or<\/p>\n

plentifulness\u00a0of OR energy, oxygen, water vapor, rain, sun and wind and their<\/p>\n

interaction.<\/p>\n

(2) Technological Use of the “Orgonomic Potential” ~<\/b><\/p>\n

The “Orgonomic\u00a0Potential” denotes\u00a0all functions\u00a0in nature which depend on the flow of<\/p>\n

cosmic\u00a0energy, or potential, from Low to High or from Weaker to Stronger Systems.<\/p>\n

Thus\u00a0the orgonomic\u00a0potential is\u00a0the basis\u00a0of and functions\u00a0contrary\u00a0to the mechanical<\/p>\n

potential, heat, electromagnetic\u00a0energy, mechanical potential of position, etc. The<\/p>\n

orgonomic\u00a0potential is\u00a0most clearly\u00a0expressed in the maintenance in most animals\u00a0on<\/p>\n

this\u00a0planet of a temperature higher than that of the environment, and in the function of<\/p>\n

gravitational attraction. In both cases, the stronger energy\u00a0system draws\u00a0energy\u00a0from<\/p>\n

or attracts\u00a0a weaker system nearby; in both cases\u00a0the potential is\u00a0directed from low to<\/p>\n

high, or from weak\u00a0to strong. Gravitation obviously\u00a0functions\u00a0on this\u00a0basis.<\/p>\n

The technique of cloud\u00adbusting is\u00a0to a very\u00a0large extent, if not wholly, base don the<\/p>\n

technological use of the orgonomic\u00a0potential as\u00a0it governs\u00a0the OR energy\u00a0functions\u00a0of<\/p>\n

the atmosphere.<\/p>\n

The technological use of the orgonomic\u00a0potential can be divided, basically, into two<\/p>\n

major groups:<\/p>\n

(A) Increase of the OR potential: In this\u00a0case we concentrate OR energy\u00a0and build up<\/p>\n

a steeper or stronger OR potential. This\u00a0will have entirely\u00a0different effects\u00a0than<\/p>\n

(B) Decrease of the OR potential: In this\u00a0case we disperse or dissipate OR energy; we<\/p>\n

lower the potential difference and create a tendency\u00a0toward more or les\u00a0equal<\/p>\n

distribution of the OR energy\u00a0in the atmospheric\u00a0OR energy\u00a0envelope of the planet.<\/p>\n

We act in the direction of the mechanical potential.<\/p>\n

Rain clouds, thunder clouds, hurricanes\u00a0and tornadoes\u00a0are, seen from the viewpoint of<\/p>\n

orgonomy, different expression of basically\u00a0one and the same function, i.e.,<\/p>\n

combinations\u00a0of concentrated OR energy\u00a0streams\u00a0and water vapors. Many\u00a0conditions<\/p>\n

depend on the intensity, direction, location and similar conditions\u00a0related to the<\/p>\n

combination of water and OR energy; most of these conditions\u00a0still await detailed<\/p>\n

study\u00a0and logical comprehension.<\/p>\n

However, the two basic\u00a0principles\u00a0of cloudbusting, increase and decrease of the OR<\/p>\n

potential, suffice at the moment to make their technological use comprehensible.<\/p>\n

If we wish to destroy\u00a0clouds\u00a0we must use the orgonomic\u00a0potential in such a manner<\/p>\n

that the potential between clouds\u00a0and their immediate environment increases.<\/p>\n

If we wish to create clouds\u00a0or to increase the power of existing clouds, we must use<\/p>\n

the OR potential in such a manner that the potential between clouds\u00a0and their<\/p>\n

immediate environment increases.<\/p>\n

In order to execute these two basic\u00a0principles\u00a0in a satisfactory\u00a0manner, we must,<\/p>\n

logically, construct and use a device which is\u00a0capable of adding OR energy\u00a0to the<\/p>\n

atmospheric\u00a0OR energy\u00a0envelope; or, we must construct a device which will draw<\/p>\n

energy\u00a0from the OR envelope in such a manner that the affected region loses\u00a0certain<\/p>\n

amounts\u00a0of energy\u00a0to other regions, thus\u00a0changing the atmospheric\u00a0energy\u00a0conditions.<\/p>\n

Since at present, adding energy\u00a0to the atmosphere is\u00a0not yet possible, we must use<\/p>\n

the other principle, that of drawing energy\u00a0from the atmosphere.<\/p>\n

(3) Drawing Off Atmospheric OR Energy ~ <\/b><\/p>\n

In order to draw off atmospheric\u00a0OR energy, we must accomplish two tasks: (a) we<\/p>\n

must use a device which draws\u00a0OR energy; (b) we must know into what place to draw<\/p>\n

this\u00a0energy.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0is\u00a0accomplished by\u00a0changing, basically, the principle of the functioning of the<\/p>\n

Lightning Rod:<\/p>\n

The lightning rod, too, functions\u00a0according to OR energy\u00a0principles, since “lightning” is<\/p>\n

atmospheric\u00a0OR energy\u00a0discharge in a very\u00a0narrow space. The pointed rod, reaching<\/p>\n

into the atmosphere, attracts\u00a0the lightning discharge and conducts\u00a0it through heavy<\/p>\n

wires\u00a0into the ground. This\u00a0lightning rod system functions\u00a0according to orgonomic, and<\/p>\n

not according to electrical principles: In the lightning rod system, the atmospheric<\/p>\n

charge is\u00a0drawn from the atmosphere toward the point of the rod and further toward<\/p>\n

the earth’s\u00a0crust. It is, thus, the orgonomic\u00a0potential from weak\u00a0to strong which is<\/p>\n

operative also in the case of the lightning rod. If the electrical potential from high to low<\/p>\n

were operative in the lightning rod system, the direction of flow would necessarily\u00a0be<\/p>\n

the reverse, from the earth’s\u00a0crust toward the atmosphere; the energy\u00a0would stream off<\/p>\n

and away\u00a0from the point of the lightning rod.*<\/p>\n

More recent research into lightning has\u00a0shown that lightning usually\u00a0rises\u00a0from the<\/p>\n

earth first in a streamer, and the major, visible strike follows\u00a0that path or creates<\/p>\n

another in making its\u00a0way\u00a0to earth. I have captured this\u00a0phenomenon on video from a<\/p>\n

few yards\u00a0distance, and was\u00a0extremely\u00a0lucky\u00a0not to have been struck.]<\/p>\n

Cloudbusting operates\u00a0in agreement with the functioning of the lightning rod, only\u00a0if we<\/p>\n

put both functions, cloudbusting and lightning rod, on the common functional basis\u00a0of<\/p>\n

the OR potential.<\/p>\n

Cloudbusting deviates\u00a0from the lightning rod principle in four ways: (1) Its\u00a0purpose is<\/p>\n

not to draw and to ground bolts\u00a0of lightning, but to draw OR energy\u00a0charges\u00a0out of<\/p>\n

atmosphere and clouds. In doing so, it deals\u00a0with the same kind of force as\u00a0in the<\/p>\n

lightning, with one important difference: The cloud\u00adbuster draws\u00a0the charges\u00a0slowly, in<\/p>\n

small amounts\u00a0at a time, dispersed, as\u00a0it were, in time as\u00a0well as\u00a0in concentration, and<\/p>\n

not in the form of sudden lightning. It does\u00a0no by\u00a0way\u00a0(2) of long, hollow pipes, and not<\/p>\n

of solid steel rods.<\/p>\n

The pipes, any\u00a0number of them, and any\u00a0length beyond a minimum of about 4 meters<\/p>\n

or 12 feet used in our first cloud\u00adbusting experiments, have the function (3) of<\/p>\n

triggering the atmospheric\u00a0OR energy\u00a0flow into certain directions. The function of the<\/p>\n

pipes\u00a0is\u00a0fulfilled with this\u00a0triggering of directional flow. Once the OR energy\u00a0flow is<\/p>\n

directed at will, it continues\u00a0to flow in the same direction, until another natural or<\/p>\n

artificial stimulus\u00a0changes\u00a0it again. The lightning rod, on the other hand, is\u00a0not intended<\/p>\n

to direct OR energy\u00a0flow. It only\u00a0functions\u00a0as\u00a0a conductor toward the ground in case<\/p>\n

concentrated OR energy\u00a0discharge, i.e., lightning, happens\u00a0to come its\u00a0way.<\/p>\n

(4) The OR charges\u00a0are drawn (not into the ground but) into water, preferably\u00a0into<\/p>\n

flowing water of brooks, flowing lakes\u00a0and rivers. We draw into water since the<\/p>\n

attraction is\u00a0greater between water and OR energy\u00a0than between other elements\u00a0and<\/p>\n

OR energy. Water not only\u00a0attracts\u00a0OR speedily\u00a0but it also holds\u00a0it, as\u00a0especially\u00a0in<\/p>\n

clouds. We thus\u00a0have the above picture of the process\u00a0of cloudbusting.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0sketch depicts\u00a0the principle of cloud destruction only. It does\u00a0not suffice to enable<\/p>\n

the technician to destroy\u00a0all existent types\u00a0of clouds. This\u00a0remains\u00a0a task\u00a0of future<\/p>\n

experimentation in cosmic\u00a0engineering, to be solved in many\u00a0ways, in various\u00a0regions<\/p>\n

of the globe, with various\u00a0models\u00a0of cloud\u00adbusters\u00a0(various\u00a0as\u00a0to number, length and<\/p>\n

width of pipes, direction of draw, size of clouds, maturity\u00a0of our experience, etc.). The<\/p>\n

principle, however, may\u00a0be described as\u00a0basically\u00a0complete:<\/p>\n

One dissipates\u00a0clouds\u00a0of water vapor by\u00a0withdrawing, according to the orgonomic<\/p>\n

potential, atmospheric\u00a0(cosmic) OR energy\u00a0from the center of the cloud. This\u00a0weakens<\/p>\n

the cohesive power of the cloud: there will be less\u00a0energy\u00a0to carry\u00a0the water vapors,<\/p>\n

and the clouds\u00a0necessarily\u00a0must dissipate. The orgonomic\u00a0potential between cloud<\/p>\n

and its\u00a0environment is\u00a0lowered.<\/p>\n

(4) The Creation of Clouds ~ <\/b><\/p>\n

The principle used in the creation of clouds\u00a0is\u00a0the same as\u00a0that in the destruction of<\/p>\n

clouds: the orgonomic\u00a0potential from low to high. However, while in the destruction of<\/p>\n

clouds\u00a0we draw off energy\u00a0from the cloud vapor, we draw energy\u00a0from the close<\/p>\n

vicinity\u00a0of the cloud if we wish to enlarge existent clouds\u00a0and to proceed toward<\/p>\n

rainmaking. The following chart depicts\u00a0the process.<\/p>\n

The technological experiment bears\u00a0out the theoretical assumption: clouds\u00a0dissipate<\/p>\n

when the cloud\u00adbuster pipes\u00a0are aimed at the center; they\u00a0grow when we aim at the<\/p>\n

close vicinity\u00a0in the cloud\u00adfree sky.<\/p>\n

One may\u00a0create clouds\u00a0in the cloud\u00adfree sky\u00a0in a certain manner, by\u00a0disturbing the<\/p>\n

evenness\u00a0in the in the distribution of the atmospheric\u00a0OR energy; thus\u00a0clouds\u00a0appear<\/p>\n

upon drawing energy\u00a0form the air. The more clouds\u00a0that are present and the heavier<\/p>\n

the clouds, the easier it is\u00a0to induce growth of clouds\u00a0and finally\u00a0rain. The fewer clouds,<\/p>\n

the more difficult it s\u00a0and the longer it takes\u00a0until the clouds\u00a0give up their water.<\/p>\n

Practically, a rather sharp distinction exists\u00a0between rainmaking in a cloudy\u00a0as\u00a0against<\/p>\n

a cloud\u00adfree sky.<\/p>\n

No matter what the variations, the principle remains\u00a0the same as\u00a0described: Drawing<\/p>\n

from an existent cloud destroys\u00a0the cloud. Drawing from its\u00a0vicinity\u00a0makes\u00a0it grow,<\/p>\n

It is\u00a0necessary\u00a0to stop at this\u00a0point. Strong reaction to cloudbusting in Rangeley,<\/p>\n

Maine, have been observed in distant regions\u00a0(Boston); such influence on far\u00adaway<\/p>\n

regions\u00a0is\u00a0due to the continuity\u00a0of the OR envelope; the details\u00a0will require extensive<\/p>\n

and careful study. We have always\u00a0been cautious\u00a0not to overdo while cloudbusting,<\/p>\n

since small twisters\u00a0and rapid changes\u00a0of wind have been observed beyond any<\/p>\n

reasonable doubt. Also, on one occasion, heavy, prolonged rain occurred upon faulty<\/p>\n

operation.<\/p>\n

Cloudbusting as\u00a0a task\u00a0of Cosmic\u00a0OR Engineering will by\u00a0far transcend the facilities<\/p>\n

and potentialities\u00a0of any\u00a0single institution and even state or country. Cloudbusting is<\/p>\n

truly\u00a0an international affair with no regard for national borders. There are neither<\/p>\n

passport controls\u00a0nor customs\u00a0officers\u00a0in the sky\u00a0where the weather is\u00a0being made. His<\/p>\n

is\u00a0good and as\u00a0it should be in Cosmic\u00a0OR Engineering (CORE).<\/p>\n

(III) Fog\u00adLifting <\/b><\/p>\n

When it had been safely\u00a0secured that the orgonomic\u00a0potential was\u00a0satisfactorily<\/p>\n

operating in removing the nauseating DOPR clouds\u00a0over Orgonon, and in breaking as<\/p>\n

well as\u00a0making of rain clouds, a new problem of CORE presented itself:<\/p>\n

It was\u00a0late in summer 1952; the autumn and winter with fogs\u00a0and snowstorms\u00a0were<\/p>\n

just ahead of us. Would it be possible to lift dense fog to the extent of letting the sun<\/p>\n

shine over a certain region? In the present communication we shall only\u00a0deal with the<\/p>\n

Lifting of Fog. The experiments\u00a0with fog\u00adlifting were conducted from October to<\/p>\n

December 1952 at Orgonon, Maine and are being continued.<\/p>\n

The following photograph presents\u00a0the First Cloudbuster built by\u00a0the Southwest<\/p>\n

Machine Company\u00a0in Portland, Maine in 1952. Earlier, a much more primitive device<\/p>\n

was\u00a0constructed and operated at Orgonon.<\/p>\n

The “Spiral Draw” in Fog\u00adLifting ~ <\/b><\/p>\n

The task\u00a0of fog\u00adlifting is\u00a0accomplished by\u00a0way\u00a0of the so\u00adcalled “Spiral Draw”. In order<\/p>\n

to understand its\u00a0functioning, one should return to the basic\u00a0principles\u00a0on which cloud\u0002<\/p>\n

busting rests\u00a0as\u00a0a total operation. To repeat:<\/p>\n

The OR energy\u00a0envelope of the earth planet moves, under normal conditions, from the<\/p>\n

west toward the east, in accordance with the direction of the daily\u00a0rotation of the globe,<\/p>\n

faster than the surface of the earth. Accordingly, any\u00a0operation which is\u00a0intended to<\/p>\n

bring in fresh OR energy\u00a0supply\u00a0from the west, such as\u00a0is\u00a0the case in DR removal, will<\/p>\n

use the west to east direction of the movement of the OR energy\u00a0envelop as\u00a0the<\/p>\n

principle of its\u00a0operation: In order to bring in fresh OR energy, one must draw from the<\/p>\n

west, i.e., pointing the front ends\u00a0of the pipes\u00a0toward the west low above the horizon. It<\/p>\n

naturally\u00a0depends\u00a0upon the climate and weather conditions\u00a0as\u00a0to how long one must<\/p>\n

draw to achieve the result of moving the pertinent part of the OR envelope faster from<\/p>\n

west to east. In the region of Orgonon, 5 to 15 minutes\u00a0will suffice to remove a DOR<\/p>\n

cloud toward the East by\u00a0drawing fresh OR energy\u00a0from the West. Once the<\/p>\n

surrounding hills\u00a0and valleys\u00a0become blue\u00adgray\u00a0again, the task\u00a0is\u00a0accomplished. Too<\/p>\n

long prolonged draw will certainly\u00a0cause severe rain from the west, and strong winds<\/p>\n

up to storm strength.<\/p>\n

In the making and breaking of clouds, we use the principle of the “orgonomic\u00a0potential”<\/p>\n

from low to high.<\/p>\n

Fog\u00adlifting requires\u00a0a combination of, and a slight change in, both these principles.<\/p>\n

Fog\u00adlifting would lead to rain instead, if we were drawing in one or another direction<\/p>\n

only. If fog covers\u00a0large areas, it is\u00a0doubtful that drawing from the west alone would<\/p>\n

accomplish anything. The technological procedure is\u00a0this:<\/p>\n

Dense fog over large areas\u00a0is\u00a0usually\u00a0evenly\u00a0distributed. In working with foggy<\/p>\n

conditions, one has\u00a0the impression (an impression only) that it is\u00a0exactly\u00a0the evenness<\/p>\n

and uniformity\u00a0of the fog bank\u00a0which constitutes\u00a0its\u00a0cohesion and tenacity\u00a0in resisting<\/p>\n

lifting. There are no potential differences; it is\u00a0a static\u00a0physical state. This\u00a0assumption<\/p>\n

is\u00a0borne out by\u00a0the operation:<\/p>\n

To break\u00a0up fog or even drizzling rain one must disturb the evenness\u00a0of the<\/p>\n

distribution, in other words, the absence of potential differences. One must create such<\/p>\n

potential differences. This\u00a0is\u00a0accomplished by\u00a0the so\u00adcalled “Spiral, Intermittent Draw”.<\/p>\n

One “drills\u00a0holes”, as\u00a0it were, into the foggy\u00a0bank\u00a0by\u00a0very\u00a0brief draws\u00a0(only\u00a0a few<\/p>\n

seconds\u00a0each) at various\u00a0points\u00a0of the sky. Experiences\u00a0so far teach that the so\u00adcalled<\/p>\n

spiral draw operates\u00a0best in the following manner:<\/p>\n

(1) Drill a hole into the zenith above you for 15 to 45 seconds.<\/p>\n

(2) Spiral very\u00a0slowly\u00a0toward the horizon, in an intermittent motion, i.e., with brief stops,<\/p>\n

2 to 5 seconds\u00a0each, as\u00a0you spiral the sky\u00a0form the zenith down toward the horizon.<\/p>\n

Seen from the ground toward the zenith, the total spiral draw looks\u00a0somewhat like this:<\/p>\n

The spiral turns\u00a0may\u00a0be drawn at any\u00a0distance from each other. Between 4 to 8 turns<\/p>\n

will suffice in most situations.<\/p>\n

After having accomplished the spiral draw, it is\u00a0necessary\u00a0to trigger, push\u00adlike, the<\/p>\n

west to east direction of the OR flow of the planetary\u00a0envelope. This\u00a0west to east<\/p>\n

triggering should not last longer than about half a minute, more or less, dependent on<\/p>\n

the stillness\u00a0of the OR atmosphere. Too short a triggering push west to east would not<\/p>\n

suffice to accelerate the movement; too long a draw from the west easily\u00a0may\u00a0brig<\/p>\n

about severe rain form the east, or a squall.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the trigger push west to east, after the spiral draw has\u00a0been done, should<\/p>\n

be handled with great care and be based on much practical experience according to<\/p>\n

the region, the weather, and similar circumstances.<\/p>\n

Since all OR operations\u00a0are basically\u00a0resting on functional, and not on mechanistic<\/p>\n

principles, they\u00a0cannot be rigidly\u00a0executed.<\/p>\n

The total draw, per single draw operation, was\u00a0at Orgonon, approximately\u00a05 minutes.<\/p>\n

With heavy\u00a0fog, it may\u00a0be necessary\u00a0to execute w, 4 or more single draws\u00a0to achieve<\/p>\n

results. A single draw may\u00a0break\u00a0the fog bank\u00a0and let the sun come shining through,<\/p>\n

but the fog may\u00a0close in again and not budge finally\u00a0until after the 4th or 5th draw.<\/p>\n

The lifting of fog can easily\u00a0be learned and operated by\u00a0anyone whose orgonotic<\/p>\n

sense is\u00a0unimpaired and who has\u00a0some knowledge of natural weather functions. It is<\/p>\n

also obvious\u00a0that the cloudbuster operations\u00a0cannot be executed on the basis\u00a0of the<\/p>\n

classical, thermical assumptions\u00a0about the origin of the various\u00a0forms\u00a0of weather. The<\/p>\n

relationship of hot and cold air masses\u00a0must, quite logically, be dependent upon and<\/p>\n

secondary\u00a0to more basic, energetic\u00a0functions\u00a0of the Orgone envelope. The<\/p>\n

Cloudbuster operation rest on the firm principles\u00a0of the functions\u00a0of the OR energy<\/p>\n

envelope of the globe.<\/p>\n

We shall, in another communication, proceed to mention a few rules, medical and<\/p>\n

general, in handling the Cloudbuster. One must not follow the temptation to play<\/p>\n

around too much wit this\u00a0“toy”. Cloudbusting is\u00a0a very\u00a0serious\u00a0and highly\u00a0responsible<\/p>\n

business. The importance of fog dispersal for aeronautics\u00a0is\u00a0obvious. So is\u00a0the<\/p>\n

removal of DOR clouds. Both operations\u00a0have been conducted at Orgonon by\u00a0our<\/p>\n

caretaker quite on his\u00a0own, without my\u00a0presence or help, and with great success.<\/p>\n

Discipline, reliance on orgonomic\u00a0observations\u00a0of the atmosphere and a well\u0002<\/p>\n

functioning First Orgonotic\u00a0Sense, make fog\u00adlifting a relatively\u00a0easy\u00a0task. However,<\/p>\n

“playing around” with the Cloudbuster to prove oneself one’s\u00a0cosmic\u00a0omnipotence, is<\/p>\n
